Teeth Whitening (bleaching) is the most commonly requested cosmetic dental procedure today. It is a very safe procedure to lighten teeth from their existing shade & to reverse darkening which happens over time. Many people choose to whiten their teeth to brighten their smile & improve their self-confidence. Often for reasons such as special events (weddings, formals), professional appearance, to restore a more youthful shade & for personal preference.
For most patients, a custom-made take-home whitening kit is the preferred option, as this allows you full control of your final result & has a minimum of sensitivity or discomfort. For our latest whitening specials, please click here.
If you are seeking a fast result, in-chair whitening is also available, however this is not included in our whitening specials.
Cosmetic Dentistry:
Cosmetic Dentistry can improve the appearance of your teeth, gums, bite or smile. There a number of treatments which can enhance appearance but not all treatments are suitable for all patients. Your Dentist will advise you on the most suitable options based on your current concerns, desired outcomes and budget.

He/She may recommend one or more of the following treatments if you are looking to improve your teeth and smile.
Veneers:
Veneers are thin, tooth-coloured facings which are bonded to the front surface of one or more teeth, to change the appearance of the tooth's exterior. They are less involved than dental crowns, but because of this they are not suitable for some situations (such as heavily filled or broken teeth).
Ceramic (porcelain) is usually the material of choice, as this gives a highly aesthetic, durable result.
Composite resin veneers are a less expensive alternative, but usually do not give as good an aesthetic as ceramic & also may not last as long.
Your dentist wil advise you whether veneers are a suitable option for your concern.
