General Dental Restorations (Fillings):
Often, small-to-moderate tooth restoration will be required with a filling, to restore original aesthetics & function. Tooth-coloured (white) fillings are used wherever possible to replace areas of tooth lost to decay, wear or breakage, as well as any old dental work which has lost integrity. They are the most common option to restore a tooth to its original shape & function.
Our filling materials are available in a range of shades & your dentist will select the best shade to replicate your natural tooth colour. Filling materials will NOT whiten when bleaching, so if you intend to whiten your teeth, please discuss cosmetic outcomes with your dentist.
Tooth-coloured (white) fillings are best suited to small-to-medium areas of structure replacement. For larger areas, or on compromised teeth, your dentist may advise an alternative long-term solution & discuss your options with you.
